CORGI FORD CONSUL CLASSIC No234 BEIGE/PINK ROOF & OPENING BONNET VINTAGE 1960-65

Lovely vintage model made between 1961-65. Depending your perception for colours, the body is either beige/cream/off-white. There’s silver detailing for the bumpers, front grille, headlights and rear numberplate surround, with the rear lights painted red. The roof is most definitely pink. The interior is pale yellow with a silver steering wheel. There are period Corgi number plates, tax disc and GB stickers. If you press down on the front suspension, it ‘pops’ up the rear edge of the opening bonnet, revealing a silver-painted detailed engine bay. The baseplate is painted the same colour as the body and it rolls on shaped metal hubs with edge-treaded rubber tyres.

Sold as the Ford Consul Classic in the UK and as the Ford Consul 315 in export markets - hence the slightly confusing baseplate. Ford also made the gorgeous 2-door Consul Capri.
