For sale is an exceptional piece of mid-century fashion history: a beautiful pair of vintage 1950s costume jewelry earrings by designer Denbé (J.J. Denberg Co.), preserved entirely inside their original retail presentation box from Motl-Duggan Co. Jewelers of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sourced from my single private estate, this is a true "time capsule" pairing—these earrings were originally purchased from the historic Motl-Duggan shop at 808 W. Mitchell Street and have remained together ever since.
  • The Earrings: Meticulously handset with ice-clear, brilliant baguette and round Austrian crystal rhinestones in an architectural cocktail design. Stamped with the rare cursive "Denbé" maker's mark hallmark on the adjustable screw-back clip mechanisms. The high-quality rhodium-plated metal remains mirror-bright with zero peeling. In excellent vintage condition.
  • The Original Jeweler Box: Original late 1940s/1950s textured cream-and-gold swirl cardboard presentation box. The lid is crisply stamped in black with the historic shop logo: "Motl-Duggan Co. 'Famous for Diamonds' Jewelers." Includes the original, beautifully preserved ultra-soft white interior cotton padding insert.
  • Condition & Box Wear Notes (Sold AS-IS): While the earrings themselves are in excellent, wearable condition, the original cardboard box shows honest, age-appropriate wear from decades of storage. Specifically, there are three split corner seams on the top lid and one slightly split corner seam on the bottom base as pictured.
Home Environment: This collection comes from a strictly smoke-free, pet-free, and perfume-free home.
Return Policy: This item is being sold AS-IS with NO RETURNS accepted as part of a final collection clearance. Please review the box corner photos carefully prior to purchasing.
Shipping Details: Ships securely via Calculated Shipping based on your zip code. To protect the vintage prongs, i and mailed inside a sturdy corrugated box.
