Paolo Staccioli was born in Scandicci, near Florence.  I will include the emails and COA from his studio in Italy if you ask to remind me to forward it to you. The vase measures about 16.5 inches tall and 14 inches in diameter at the widest spot.   Paolo Staccioli began his career as an artist in the 1970s, starting out as a painter. In the early 1990s, the need to experiment with a new artistic vocabulary encouraged him to move to Faenza, in the workshop of a local ceramist and potter. Having fully mastered the technique, Staccioli setup his own workshop in Scandicci, where he continued to experiment with the use of fire and copper oxides. Through the years, he has taken part in awards and exhibitions that have won him a place of prestige in the field of contemporary art.
Please ignore the shipping and make your own arrangements.  I just put that.  I will take it to UPS or Fedex to have it packaged and shipped after you purchase it and pay.  I cannot put free shipping as it would be misinterpreted.
