1. Connections:

   • Connect line sources (CD player, DAC, streamer, tuner) directly into the RCA input jacks.

   • Connect the Pre-Out RCA outputs directly to a power amplifier (or active powered speakers).

2. Cable Length Matters:

   • Because passive preamps rely on source drive and do not buffer output impedance, keep interconnect cables between the QED SDR and your power amplifier as short as possible (ideally 1 meter or less) and use low-capacitance cables.

3. Impedance Matching:

• Works best with power amplifiers that have a high input impedance (typically 20kΩ to 50kΩ or higher).
