For sale is an excellent condition etching from the Chilean-born artist, Sergio González-Tornero. Created in 1968 this is an Artist proof which was duplicated and released as a numbered serigraph of 125 prints. This is hand-signed and dated by the artist in pencil. It is also titled in pencil by the artist's hand "Skin-Diver". Also in the artist's hand is the penciled designation of "Artist's Proof". The base paper is watermarked-embossed with the word "Arches". The colors are phenomenal. Extremely bright and vibrant, arguably as vibrant as the day they were pressed into the paper. This was never framed. Amazing embossing, it was kept out of the light against blotter paper along with several other block prints by the collector from whose estate it was acquired. Subtle differences from the serigrapher numbered 125 prints, this is a true original. It is in overall extremely good condition with just minor imperfections on the paper, none egregious and none on the image itself.
