** This book set is very special because it was previously owned by Harris C. Faynestock, who was a financial advisor to President Abraham Lincoln and founder of Citigroup.  The provenance linking this set to Faynestock is evident on the Book Plate as in photos, which bears his name.   These books were likely part of a larger auction at Christies, and i have the Christies Auction book marks in the books.  They read 4 - 6 -1982, have the lot numbers 108/23 on them, and have the Christies Seal and appropriate ageing.  The Book Plates are on all 14 Volumes and read "Harris C. Faynestock, New York.  The maps in the books are mint condition, and the books themselves are in amazing condition given the age.  I noticed small abrasion on the bottom of the books from sitting on the self, but otherwise the condition is remarkable in my opinion.
