Notes: An attractive plafonnier bowl pendant lamp of gilt bronze with floral and torch decoration and an opaline glass shade with a ‘tutti frutti’ or terrazzo-like pattern of multi-colour glass chips fused flat to the surface. French in origin, and dating to the 1920s.

The lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and overhauled to meet modern electrical safety standards, with earthed brass lamp-holders, and double-insulated 3-core cable with a brown silk braid appropriate to the period of the lamp.

The lamp is complete with its original ceiling rose and decorative chains.

It accepts x3 B22 bayonet cap bulbs.

Condition Report: Some chipping to the edge of the glass shade (see last image), but this is covered by a separate bronzed insert, and are not visible when the lamp is hung. Otherwise, the lamp is clean and ready to install.
