Description:

Unusual vintage mushroom / toadstool shaped trinket pot, believed to date from around the 1970s.

The piece has a substantial heavy translucent amber/orange resin cap, decorated with yellow spot details. The cap lifts off to reveal a dark wooden storage pot beneath.

The pot sits on a genuine natural wood slice base with the original bark edge, giving the piece a distinctive rustic woodland appearance.

The mushroom cap is particularly substantial and heavy for its size. It has been gently tap-tested and produces a dull sound rather than a glass-like ring, and does not feel especially cold to the touch, so it is believed to be cast resin rather than glass.
