Vintage French Nest of Three Brass-Coloured Metal & Onyx Marble Tables – Louis XV Style
This is a fine quality vintage French nest of three tables in the Louis XV style, dating to approximately the 1930s. The tables feature ornate brass-coloured metal frames with pierced fretwork galleries, beaded detailing, cabriole legs and decorative acanthus leaf knee decoration, each incorporating a beautiful inset onyx marble top.
The marble tops have attractive natural veining and variations in colour, making this a very decorative and unusual vintage set.
Important Condition Note – Middle Table
Please note that the middle table has a damaged marble top.
The onyx marble has cracked/broken cleanly along a natural vein. The piece of marble slots back into the original frame, but there is some roughness to the surface along the break where the two sections have separated.
The damage is clearly visible and should be taken into consideration when purchasing. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
The smallest table also has a few very small nibbles/chips to the corners of the marble top. The largest table is in the best overall condition of the three.
Other than the damage described above, the metal frames are in good vintage condition with attractive age-related patination. The marble tops have a polished finish to the upper surfaces, with the undersides retaining a more natural matt finish.

Packaging & Delivery
Due to the weight and fragile nature of the marble tops, the tables will be carefully disassembled for packaging and sent in two separate boxes. This is intended to help reduce the risk of damage during transit and also keep postage costs as reasonable as possible. Any savings on post will be refunded after the item has been posted ( the price at time of listing was 39.50)
