Recorded in 1972.

Excellent performances all around, from the quietude of Feldman and Cage to the hair-raising chill of Crumb's "Black Angels." This "Black Angels" recording is particulaly significant as it has the difficult portion where the participating string players start to go out of tune during the "Death and the Maiden" section, which, as far as I know, is unique in all the recordings of this piece. Great pioneer recordings which will take a long time to better.

GRADING. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. I go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBAY. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.
