Likely from the early/middle of the 20thC, (the creation, not the stones lol) though I really have no idea. Yet another piece inherited, about which I basically know nothing. Certainly Scottish Agates, and I do remember them from before the family moved to Australia in the 60s.


Beautifully translucent. 51 individual colourful stones. 56cm in total. About 100gms
One thing I do know is the clasp was replaced...by me!! The previous one didn't work at all, and as I felt it likely wasn't the original anyway, I replaced it. The 'new' one is magnetic-and works!!! I think it fits in fine, but any complaints, you'll know who to blame. Happy to discuss
