This watch is a bit of a time machine! The Classic Citizen Nighthawk design is just timeless and they have now discontinued this model, so if it’s kept in good condition, it will only go up in value! Amazingly, the mineral crystal has no major scratches (none with my naked eye) since most have plenty of scratches unless they have had a crystal replacement The highly polished caseback still has the original sticker so it doesn’t have the normal scratches on it. It comes with the much better quality tactical style ProMaster box, hangtag and extra links that are always missing when you try and buy one. It has some wear on the case bracelet and some desk diving scuffs on the clasp.

The Watch keeps great time by comparing it to my iPhone (since I do not have a timegrapher for +/- times)

The Eco-Drive movement is functioning great and charges well. But if left in the dark for a long time (weeks-months) then it needs to be charged by wearing it in the sunlight or kept under a lamp. Normal for the B877 Eco-Drive movement. I’d also have it checked by a watchmaker before using it for anything more than swimming (say snorkeling)

Gorgeous design! I’ve owned about 12 of them, and will probably buy another one some time down the road. However I have my eye on another watch to buy, so my loss is your gain!

It’s up there with the Seiko Flightmaster and a cheaper alternative to the Glycine Airman and even the Breitling Navitimer
