An unusual vintage Cuisor double toasting iron, manufactured in France and featuring two attractive shell-shaped cooking moulds.
The hinged metal plates open to reveal four detailed seashell-shaped moulds – two on each side. When closed, they form two individual cooking compartments.
The long metal handles keep the user away from the heat and feature traditional red wooden grips.
A wonderful piece of vintage French kitchenalia, equally appealing for practical outdoor cooking, a period kitchen display or a cookware collection.
Potential uses include:
Good vintage pre-owned condition.
This is an older cooking implement and shows considerable age-related patina, darkening, surface marks, staining and signs of previous cooking/use, particularly to the metal plates.
The red wooden handles also have scratches, paint loss and general wear consistent with age.
The hinged sections open and close as shown in the photographs.
I have not restored or polished the metal, preferring to leave the original vintage finish intact.
Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and show the exact condition you will receive.
