The Browning wz.1928 (RKM wz.28) was the standard light machine gun of the Polish Army and one of its most important infantry support weapons in 1939. Developed in Poland from the Browning Automatic Rifle system and chambered for the 7.92 mm Mauser cartridge, it was widely used by Polish infantry and cavalry during the September Campaign. This richly illustrated volume presents the weapon's history, development, construction, operation and military service, accompanied by numerous photographs and illustrations.
