Description

The Heat 2 Eat Small Self Steamer provides a compact way to enjoy hot food when you're away from conventional cooking facilities.

Designed for campers, hikers, anglers, festival-goers and emergency kits, the system heats food without requiring a gas stove, electricity, batteries or an open flame.

Simply activate the supplied HeatStone with water and the resulting reaction generates steam inside the container. Rather than heating the food through direct contact with the heating element, the steam surrounds the meal, helping to provide more even heating and reduce hot and cold spots.

With an approximate 500g food capacity, the Small model is particularly useful for individual meals, ration packs, retort pouches, dehydrated camping meals and tinned foods. Heating normally takes approximately 15–30 minutes.

Measuring just 172 x 125 x 95 mm, it packs easily into camping equipment, a rucksack, fishing kit, vehicle or emergency food supply.

The self-steamer container can be reused for up to approximately five heating cycles when used with replacement HeatStones.

Please Note: The Heat 2 Eat is a self-steaming food heater rather than a conventional hob or stove. It is primarily intended for heating suitable pre-cooked and prepared foods.
