Sliding door stopper with skip function for Ducato 250 (since 2006), Citroen Jumper, Peugeot Boxer and identical ones.
This stopper is mounted at a desired location where the sliding door is to be stopped, or at an existing location where a door stop was installed (so that the existing hole can be reused).
Version 2 with easier skipping (my favorite), (see video in picture gallery) (the halt(stop) is identical to the first version)
Alternative version 1 with heavier skipping
Function:
If the door is only ajar at the stopper point, it remains in this position.
If the door is closed with a little more momentum, the standard holder jumps over the stopper and the door closes. The skip function is only intended for emergencies, in case you forget to pull the door handle when closing.
If you have a stopper without a skip function, you know the noise that the door makes when you forget to pull the door handle when closing, so it prevents something from bending or breaking.
Guide:
For assembly, pre-drill with a 2mm steel drill (use stopper for marking) and then assemble with the supplied self-drilling screw, tighten with approx. 2NM, so that the screw head is securely at the same height as the stopper.
Safety note: If the sliding door does not jump over the stopper on its own, it must be removed again to avoid damage! There are design-related tolerances, or previous damage to the door mechanism, where the stopper does not work, should it happen, please report it, there is also a separate solution for this, but it only occurs in less than 0.2% of cases.
The form may vary depending on the version, it is always improved a bit, you always get the latest version.
Scope of delivery: 1x doorstop, 1x self-drilling screw
