Antique American Waltham Watch Co. pocket watch dating to circa 1903. This substantial 18-size pocket watch is identified as a Waltham Grade 825, Model 1883 movement with 17 jewels.
The watch features a classic white enamel dial signed “Waltham,” bold black Arabic numerals, red five-minute markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, and attractive blued-steel hands.
It is housed in a Keystone Watch Case Co. open-face case marked “Guaranteed Silveroid Genuine.” Silveroid is a durable silver-colored base-metal alloy commonly used for American pocket-watch cases of this period; it should not be confused with sterling or solid silver. The case is numbered 5,773,787.

Condition
Antique pre-owned condition with age-related surface scratches, scuffs, tarnish/discoloration and general handling wear to the case. The dial shows age-related wear/discoloration, particularly around the outer perimeter. Please examine all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.
Mechanical running accuracy and service history are unknown unless otherwise stated. As with any approximately 120-year-old mechanical watch, servicing may be advisable before regular use.
