Please note: The built-in flash works correctly once manually opened, however the automatic pop-up mechanism does not release the flash by itself and may require attention. This does not affect normal photography unless you intend to use the built-in flash. An external flash can also be used via the hot shoe as normal.

The lens is clean with smooth zoom and focus operation. The camera records photos and video correctly, buttons and controls function as expected, and the camera is ready to use.

Overall, a great DSLR starter kit with the only known issue being the flash pop-up mechanism as described above.
