Up for auction is a new, never used Daiwa Coronet Mini Reel that was given to me maybe 40 years ago by the Daiwa people during a visit I made to their California facility. It is new & unused as can be see in the photos. It has been packed away ever since I got it, & it has never been used.

 

The Daiwa Coronet Mini reel is a small reel that the Japanese use for ice fishing in northern Japan where they catch a freshwater fish called Wakasagi, which grows to 3 or 4-inches in length (kind of like a small smelt). The reel features a one-piece aluminum body and spool, with an attractive metallic silver finish. They are lightweight (approximately 1.9-oz.), with a gear ratio of 2.3:1, and equipped a line stopper, and a snubbing button for ease of use.

 

The Daiwa Coronet Mini reel with the yellow bag will be carefully packaged and shipped by USPS Ground Advantage. I will combine shipping on multiple reels if purchased the same day - each additional reel is $1.00 to ship.
