For sale is a fresh new original oil on canvas board, size 6 inches x 6 inches  x 1/8 inch thick (15 cms x 15 cms x 0.4 cms). It has been painted with fine quality paints. Before leaving the studio it will be given a light coat of satin varnish for protection, appearence and a long life. 

The painting is sold unframed. The painting comes with a certificate authenticating it as an original by David Laurence. 

David Laurence is a Sussex based artist whose work is gaining in recognition and popularity. He has sold substantially into both private and commercial collections world wide. I am largely self taught  and have a passion for art. I combine my interest in old masters with impressionism and a wide range of other nineteenth and twentieth century art. I paint using strong light and shade as well as striking colour to create a bold image that would fit well in both traditional and contempory interiors. This is an opportunity to buy directly from the artist.

I paint a wide range of subjects but with particular interest in ceramics and still life, animals and birds.
