S. F. Sorrow is the fourth album by the Pretty Things, originally released in 1968. S. F. Sorrow is a psychedelic rock opera that explores the life of a single character "from rural birth to Prodigal's Oliver Twist freakout". The Pretty Things' album is generally considered to be the first rock opera.
