Land Rover Series 3 diesel truck cab. RHD. Bought from new August 1977 VIN/chassis no.-91619005C. Registration BNP 807S. Fitted with a Perkins 4.182 diesel engine. Conversion was carried out by Motor & Diesel (Anglia) Ltd. Fitted with Air Drive underfloor compressor (100cfm at 96psi will drive a vast range of airtools) . German HJS emission technology, (which is a diesel emission particulate trap system). The Air Drive system is bolted into a welded frame under the floor and runs off the PTO. It can be easily removed. The HJS systems can also be easily removed, if you want to. The rear, flat load bay area is approximately 1.93 mtre  long x 880mm wide and the wheel arch box section on each side of the load bay area are 220mm high x 380mm wide. The back is lined out with aluminium checker plate on 20mm ply. It is covered with a very strong side hinged lockable aluminium security cover. Giving very secure storage to the rear load area. (This cover can be removed, if you want to fit a canvas tilt). The vehicle's chassis has been cleaned, painted with Hammerite and undersealed. The roof rack was made by Brownchurch Ltd. The rear carrying frame locks into position and folds up into the rear tailgate. The vehicle is fitted with a removable front implement bar. The 110 grill can be unbolted if you want to revert to the Series 3 grill. All bills are available from new.

It is registered as a historic vehicle and so is exempt from road tax and MOT  in the UK.  (It has however had a recent MOT and full service see attached). It is also exempt from London's, ULEZ and LEZ charges. As an historic vehicle it is eligible for export to the USA. 

This vehicle is designed to be used as a "workhorse" as were the original Land Rover Series 3 truck cab vehicles. It has many extras, rev counter, inertia seat belts, fuel sedimenter, rubber doughnut helper springs, servo assisted brakes, removable gearbox chassis member, (to make it easier to remove the gearbox) and 1 ton rear springs.
