Vintage 1986 Sango Larry Laslo Calligraphy Set 9 Oval Salad Plates 8" 267002
Fantastic set of 9 vintage Sango The Larry Laslo Collection "Calligraphy" oval salad plates, marked 1986.
Designed by Larry Laslo, Calligraphy #267002 features dramatic black abstract brushstrokes against glossy white ceramic. The asymmetrical artwork combined with the unusual oval shape gives this pattern an unmistakable upscale 1980s contemporary / Postmodern look.
This is a particularly nice opportunity to acquire nine matching plates at once — enough for a service of eight plus a spare- there is one plate that has a small amount of crazing in the center - see photos.
