1970s red/white 1" MULTIPLICATION CYLINDER Vintage

vintage mechanical math flashcard cylinder (probably  part of a vintage toy or educational math game set).

How It WorksThe Windows: The left window displays a mathematical equation (in this case, the multiplication problem 1 × 5). The right window displays the answer (5).

The Knob: The small plastic spindle or gear protrusion on the right side connects to an internal scrolling mechanism. Turning this knob rotates an internal drum or scroll to reveal the next math equation and its corresponding answer.
