WTF?!

How much for a 96 page book(let)?

Yes indeed… I was thinking of selling it for 10 times that amount..I still might… who knows…

Why so much? There are a couple of reasons. First of all, you aren’t paying for the ink and the paper it’s printed on… that would cost you less than a dollar if you were.. what you are paying for is the information inside. (Just so you know, this isn’t even a pristine copy of the book, the cover is ‘speckled’, the pages might not lie flat…but all of that does not affect the information inside.)

Do you remember the joke where a guy calls a plumber on Xmas eve because his basement is flooding. The plumber comes over, takes a look at the situation and turns a knob, and the water stops. He hands the guy a bill for $500.00. The guy is irate… saying ‘how can you charge me $500.00? Your were here for 5 minutes! All you did water turn a knob!” The plumber says, ‘yes, all I did was turn a knob… that cost you only $1.00, the other $499 that I charged you was for me knowing which knob to turn!” Knowledge. Is. Key.

So….. back to the item for sale… oh yeah… another reason why it’s such a high investment on your part is because… If I charge $4.99 for it… you’ll buy it..maybe read it… most likely not.. and put it aside. If you pay good money for it.. maybe…just maybe you’ll put the information inside to good use. I’m sure you’ll read (and finish) it the day you get it. That’s what I’m hoping at least… You are more invested in it.. a go getter. an action taker…

So, the title is ‘From Zero to $8000 in Two days’. This was written years ago, actually there is no date, no isbn code, no Library of Congress number, no copyright, edition or anything else you usually find in books… Totally self published… So, back to the title… a little deceiving as it refers to 2 days for a contract for 8k a month.. again this is 80’s dollars (I’m guessing) You set what you want to make.. that was just what the author made on his first deal. What’s nice about this book is that there isn’t much fluff…a little maybe… but it’s a short book, so it gets into it in short order.

(The author also mentions an association you can join… I’m thinking it’s long defunct and no longer in existence.. just a heads up…)

What this book isn’t:

it’s not a get rich quick scheme

it’s not a party plan

it’s not multi level marketing (mlm)

it’s not wholesaling

it’s not selling items/products

it’s not carpet cleaning/office cleaning

it’s not stock or futures or day trading

it’s not importing or exporting

it’s not mineral rights

it’s not real estate investing/flipping

it’s not tax liens, tax sales etc…

it’s not web site building or webhosting

it’s not a franchise

What this book is:

it is an actual business.. your business. you run it. You can hire other people to work for you or with you, or do it alone.

What skills do you need?

No college needed. High school diploma not even needed, no one will need to ask your educational background.

Sales background not necessary, but can be helpful, along with people skills. Find some sales seminar tape sets here (on eBay) or online somewhere. NLP info might help you too. Keep checking my items for sale as I often post items for self improvement, sales and marketing.

Be presentable, you will be meeting people.

What do I need to start this?

No real capital needed to start, no special costly equipment needed

A phone would help, most people have this

Maybe a computer to make things easy for you

Maybe a copier or printer

Car not even necessary with Uber and Lyft around

You would need companies or businesses around you. THIS IS KEY. Also, it is preferable that these companies have many employees and/or departments. The more employees the better. (Plus the more employees they have, most likely the more you can make). So, you would need to go to big cities or industrial complex areas. You can also work remotely… but on-site or companies you can actually visit most likely would be better n the beginning.

Can I really make 8K in 2 days?

Sure you can! Stop doubting yourself! If the author did, and many others after him, why can’t you? So, first… change your attitude..if one person can do it…so can you! (see my caveat of his 8k claim)

Is everything spelled out in this book?

Yes and no… This book is old.. before the internet was like it is now… so, some thing have changed. This book lays out how the author did it. He gives sample conversations etc. My suggestion is read it through once or twice. You will need to adjust things to update them a bit. BUT, the general gist and idea is still relevant and will work…if you work it.

Do I need to know about the companies and businesses I contact?

NO! A big no! Actually the less you know about it the better…that way you won’t be interjecting your ‘ideas’ into. You will only be dealing from facts found (and that you uncover) within the company. You need no special skills or knowledge about a company or industry.. but after working with them, you might want to learn more..maybe take this info and specialize in helping that certain industry with your new found knowledge. It’s all up to you and how you want to proceed.

Do you guarantee I make money if I purchase this?

NOPE! How could i? I don’t guarantee anything besides death and taxes! It’s not because i don’t think it will work..it’s because I don’t know how hard you will work to make it work. Some people will read this book and get excited and work to make it work… others will read it, and ‘think’ it won’t work, so they don’t even try. Will everyone you engage with want your service/expertise? No! It’s a numbers game… just like pretty much everything.. Expect “No’s”.. Especially in the beginning… but after you have some successes, you have those to back you up. (Find some Jay Abraham stuff and see how he leverages successes, and get some ideas on how he structures deals, you might want to structure some of your deals like he does… but as great as his marketing ideas and expertise is, do not use his marketing to help your new clients. You can always do that later…or get into Jay Abraham and become a marketing consultant. (which this book is NOT about)

So, no guarantees.. just as in real life.

Starting price is sort of high form most people.. but this is an item for those with desire to succeed and want it.

Thanks for taking a look and reading if you read this far.

Take a look at my other items.

Shipping will be fast and free for this item. It will be insured with signature required.

Why don’t I offer returns on this item? It's a very easy read, and actionable item. I don't want people buying it, reading it and returning it. I'm not a lending library. Buy it, read it, take action, and then resell it if you like. But by bidding and buying you agree to these terms.
Thank you.

A quick word about shipping…Many people ask for free shipping. When I can get the USPS (or any other service) to ship items for me for free, I’ll gladly pass that savings on to you. I try not to make money on shipping. I weigh and ‘pre-box’ (most of) my items when I list, so eBay has an accurate weight and size to calculate shipping costs. Unbreakable items over 16 ounces that I can fit in a pre paid padded envelope, will ship in that. I don’t charge a handling fee, or packaging/boxing fee. I don’t charge for the boxes and poly mailers. I don’t charge for my time to drop items off at the post office (and usually ship same or next day, depending on time of purchase). If there was a gross miscalculation in shipping costs, I refund the difference (many people don’t even seem to appreciate that it seems as very few thanks received, but I’ll do it anyway, because I’m not here to make money off postage)

If any items’ value is over $50, I include signature required for delivery (too many porch pirates out there, and I want to make sure you get your item and not them. because if the post office scans as delivered and leaves package at your residence, and someone steals it, eBay will side with me as item was delivered, and you would be out of your item, and money, so I do it for your benefit), and I eat that cost. If you feel you don’t need signature required for items over $50, let me know as a separate message (question about this item) and not a ‘note to the seller’ at checkout.  Most items over $100.00, I add extra insurance on the item, again, I also eat that cost.

So please understand, that the shipping charge is for shipping, and goes to the USPS (or other delivery service) and not me.

That is why I need to charge for shipping.

Please note: Returns must be received by me in the condition you received them. If it is a new item with tags, or in sealed package or box, the tags must still be attached, and package or box still sealed. Otherwise I may reject the return, or your refund may not be in full.
