This Timex with the dial codes 46750 / 03274 is part of the Timex Viscount family, one of the company’s better‑finished automatic lines from the early–mid 1970s. The Viscount series sat above the standard Timex automatics, typically featuring applied markers, more refined dial textures, and a sturdier water‑resistant case. The presence of “Automatic,” “Water Resistant,” and a date window aligns perfectly with the Viscount specification sheet for that era.
The first number, 46750, is Timex’s internal model/style code. In the 1970s, Timex reused movement families but assigned unique five‑digit codes to each dial/case combination. Watches documented with 46750 match your description: automatic movement, date complication, and the same dial layout. The second number, 03274, is a production code. Timex used a YYWW format (Year–Week), so 03274 corresponds to a manufacturing run in 1974, placing your watch squarely in the period when Timex’s Swiss‑made automatic movements were most common.
Viscount automatics from this period typically used a 31‑jewel or 25‑jewel movement sourced from Timex’s Swiss division, known for being durable, simple to service, and surprisingly accurate when properly maintained. Case sizes were usually around 37–38 mm, with dial options ranging from silver sunburst to champagne gold. The water‑resistant designation meant splash‑proof rather than dive‑rated, but the cases were well‑sealed for everyday wear.

Terms and Policies:
(1) Payment for our eBay items is to be made by PayPal only, and we can only ship to U.S. PayPal-confirmed addresses unless prior approval is given.
(2) All shipments are made via the United States Postal Service (USPS), and Buyer pays for all shipping/handling/insurance costs as stated in the listings.
(3) Shipments within the USA are insured and have a tracking or delivery confirmation number. Upon request we will provide the tracking number so you can track the status of your delivery (if it goes First Class insured, there is only an insurance number). In the event that you are not present at delivery, the USPS will leave a claim slip and you will need to present this slip at the Post Office to receive the shipment. As these slips are sometimes misplaced, please check with your Post Office first before contacting us about the status of your delivery. International shipments may take up 3-4 weeks, overseas shipments are by EBAY International Shipping only. Each country has different importation laws, we cannot be responsible for Duty or any other Customs fees, which are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
(4) Combined shipping is available to save costs, but only upon request, so please inquire before buying the items. I normally just apply the highest P&H of the combined group as a standard.
