Depeche Mode's Some Great Reward marked an important step in the band's evolution toward the darker, more industrial sound that would characterize much of their later work. Originally released in 1984, the album combines electronic pop with metallic percussion, sampling, and increasingly ambitious production. Highlights include "People Are People," "Master and Servant," "Somebody," and "Blasphemous Rumours."

This 1984 U.S. vinyl pressing was released by Sire Records in association with Mute Records. Produced by Daniel Miller, Depeche Mode, and Gareth Jones and recorded in London and Berlin, Some Great Reward captures the band during a period of rapid musical development and remains one of the key albums in their transition from early synth-pop toward the darker electronic sound of their later 1980s recordings.

I am selling the record collection I've built over the past 40 years. Over the decades, thousands of records have passed through my hands, and I've kept the best, cleanest copies I could find. I understand record grading and the standards serious collectors expect. Every record is graded carefully and conservatively.

Please note that I do not photograph the playing surfaces of the vinyl. In my experience, photographs cannot accurately convey a record's condition and are often misleading. Instead, I rely on careful inspection, accurate grading, and clear descriptions.

I stand behind every record I sell with my experience, my eBay feedback, and free returns if an item is not as described.
