Cobalt Blue Glass Excellent Condition!

This vintage glass 8 sided Planters Mr. Peanut jar and lid is a beautifully designed collectible advertising piece featuring the iconic Mr. Peanuts character. This candy and nuts themed piece from Planters Nuts comes in a striking cobalt blue color, making it a unique and eye-catching addition to any collection. The front and back of the jar feature molded into the glass, "Pennant Slated Peanuts 5¢, the two sides are blank, and there are four corner panels each featuring an image of Mr. Peanut. This style of jar was first released in the 1930's only in clear glass, and was then reproduced in a variety of colors in the 1970's. This jar is from the 1970's. Perfect for fans of vintage advertising and classic peanuts memorabilia, this beautiful peanut jar is a must-have for any collector.

This jar is in excellent condition with one very small chip on the lid and two imperfections in the glass on one of the blank sides which can be seen in the photos. Other than that this piece looks amazing with no other notable damage.
