Pre-owned vintage condition with normal wear from age and use. Stainless steel retains a nice finish with light scratches and wear. Leather curb strap shows age, wear, and surface cracking but remains attached. Curb chain is included. No maker’s marks were found. Please review all photos for condition and measurements.

Description

Vintage unmarked stainless steel Western Tom Thumb snaffle curb bit featuring a 5¼” jointed (broken) mouthpiece. Includes the original curb chain and leather curb strap.

The bit is non-magnetic except for the hardware on the leather straps, consistent with stainless steel construction. It has not been polished and retains its original vintage finish.

A nice vintage working bit that would make a great addition to a tack collection, Western display, or for continued use.
