"Rare Solid Silver Masonic Engraved Cigar Case" Walker & Hall
The cigar case is fully English hallmarked for sterling silver and was assayed in Sheffield 1912, and has the makers mark “W & H” for Walker & Hall who were renowned English silversmiths of the era. The case is in excellent second hand condition and it is complete with it’s original interior elastic strap to keep the cigars in place, there is one minor dent on the front but it’s well disguised by the engraved decoration (you can see it from the inside of case).
The front of the cigar case is decorated with various engraved Masonic symbols to include the temple, all seeing eye, sun & moon to name but a few. The back side of the case is engraved “Lodge 5665” referring to a Masonic lodge.
It is of a good size measuring 115mm x 87mm across x 25mm deep and it weighs a heavy 157.8 grams.
A highly collectible piece of Masonic memorabilia which is sure to make a strong addition to any decent collection. Would make a great present for any Freemason.
