Amazing collection of Shaw Barton Christmas and holiday greetings themed booklets. I believe these were given as Christmas cards or gifts by Malda and Oscar Peterson Jr. way back in the 1950's. There is a total of 11 booklet with a flock like cover front and back and yellow tassel. The tassels are a messy from being packed away, I am sure they can easily be pressed or steamed to get them to look nice again. Once opened they have wonderful graphics, and illustrations. I have shown just a few just to show you the detail. Each booklet has a theme such as Great Prayers of Great Men, The Story of Christmas Greetings, Spirit of Christmas, One Solitary Life, The Christmas Prayer of Peter Marshall, Peace on Earth Good Will Toward Men, Wise Men Seek Him Still, The Story of the Other Wise Man by Henry Van Dyke, The Christmas Story, The Story of the Three Kings, and Charity the love of God and neighbor. The booklets measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". The covers do have a little wear to be expected for items of this age as shown in the photos. They were stored properly so no musty odor.
