Description
This vintage chrome postcard features the nests of the Tejedor bird (weaver bird) in the branches of a flowering Bucare tree in Venezuela. The card shows the distinctive woven nests hanging among the red-orange blossoms against a bright blue sky. The back is printed in Spanish with the caption 'Nidos del pájaro "Tejedor" en ramos de un Bucare floreciente VENEZUELA.' Published by Montana Gráfica C.A. in Venezuela. Card number 188. The postcard is unposted and in good vintage condition. A colorful example of Venezuelan natural history and tropical wildlife from the chrome era.
