Description
This chrome postcard features the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (Saborn srpsko-pravoslavna crkva) in Sarajevo, Bosnia. The cathedral dates to the 19th century and is shown with its distinctive onion domes and peach-colored facade. People are visible walking in the plaza in front of the church, giving a sense of the 1970s-1980s era when this card was produced. The back identifies the location as Sarajevo and indicates the church is from the 19th century. Photography credit is given to Ilijas Bešić.
