Vintage Norwegian silver flower vase - in very good condition with makers mark for Theodor Olsen of Bergen and stamped "830S" which was the Norwegian silver mark up to approx 1920 when 925 began replacing it . Theodor Olsen started his silversmiths in 1868 in Bergen . Following the death of Theodore Olsen in 1890, the silversmithery and store were later sold to brothers Magnus and Knut Aase, but continued under the name of Theodore Olsen. Many generations of the Aase family have managed the firm since . In 2016 the firm changed its name to Arven AS .White roses in photos for display only
Size is approx 15cms or 6" high with base approx 6cms x 6cms or approx 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" - weighing a total of 107.7 grams or 3.8 oz. with weighted base having green baize cover
