Offering a desert weathered remnant crusted 18.2 gram slice of Zagora 008 Eucrite Achondrite meteorite, recovered in Morocco's Saharan Desert in 2021. This meteorite was classified in 2021 as a monomict-eucrite in the HED group of meteorites which stem from the asteroid 4 Vesta. The pictured specimen has remnant a crust with fragmental breccia of white and grey clasts. This slice measures approximately 50mm x 45mm x 3mm. HED meteorites range in age from 4.4 - 4.5 billion years ago and is determined to be ejection debris from an impact event on the asteroid body..
