This is one stunning piece of the Lunar surface.  Offered here is a recently classified and spectacular 2.57 gram slice of BECHAR 010 FELDSPATHIC LUNAR BRECCIA meteorite.  The Bechar 010 was found in 2022, then cut and professionally polished to a near mirror finish before being classified in March, 2023. The pictured lunar slice measures approximately 29mm x 18mm x 2mm and has a portion of the meteorite's natural crust.  Attention must be paid to the highly polished lunar matrix that exhibits light and dark mm-sized clasts and large mineral fragments densely scattered within its interior.

Lunar meteorites are identified by geological, chemical, mineral and radiation signatures within the specimen.  Analysis can even determine the site of the specimens origin. This slice was taken from a several stone recovery that totaled 681 grams. The cut surface reveals the meteorite is a feldspathic breccia with numerous white feldspar clasts and visible metal found in a dark gray matrix.  Your purchase of this beautiful slice of the Lunar surface includes a display case plus an analysis sheet for the Bechar 010 Lunar Meteorite.
