A beautiful English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver tea caddy. It is hallmarked for London 1906 with the maker being Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. It has been beautifully made and has been engraved with a stag crest possibly associated with Wilkinson family? It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, just the odd faint mark and slight rocking, the inside is clean and the hinge is strong. It measures over 4 inches (10.5cm) wide by over 5 inches (13cm) tall to the top of the finial (made of marble) and it weighs 224 grams. A beautiful eye catching piece.
