This piece represents fine craftsmanship inspired by the pre-Columbian iconography of the Chavín culture. It has a globular or heart-shaped body with a stable base. Its neck is elongated and light cream-colored with a rustic texture, which widens subtly towards the mouth with a gently wavy rim. The body of the vessel is divided vertically into symmetrical decorative bands. The contrast between the polished dark background (gray/black) and the decorated panels is striking. It features fine engravings and incisions that form patterns of opposing triangles, parallel horizontal lines, and cross-hatching (grid) highlighted in cream and terracotta/rust-red tones. Handmade by Peruvian artisans in Cusco.
