You are bidding on an Osram Sensor S - see photos. It senses the amount of light falling on your subject to control the output of your flashgun. This item connects between your camera and an Osram VS 300 Studio flashgun. It is unused, still in its original Osram-branded box, and is complete with operating instructions in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Finnish.

The 1.75 m extension cable lets you put your flash on a tripod while you move around with your camera to compose your photograph. The camera fitting goes into your camera’s hot shoe; the adapter at the cable's other end connects to the flashgun.

You can

• use it for its original purpose to provide up to 1.75 metre separation between your camera and your Osram flashgun, say for close-up photography or mixed lighting
• modify it to work with other flashguns by replacing the flashgun fitting
• add it to your collection of photographic memorabilia.

Why I am selling this item

I bought this sensor extension when I was planning to set up a photographic studio. I had planned to purchase the Osram VS 300 flashgun, but purchased a Rollei flashgun instead, because the Rollei was more universal.

You must ask me to quote the shipping charge; why?

• There are often differences between what eBay calculates, what Australia Post's and other carriers' online calculators show, and what they actually charge.
• eBay calculates postage based on the rates charged by Australia Post, in turn based on the weight and dimensions I have given. 
• If you win several items, I will bundle them to get you the most economical shipping charge.
• Australia Post includes insurance up to AU$100 and offers tracking as part of the carriage charge. Some carriers offer neither. If you choose Australia Post and the total transaction including shipping exceeds AU$100, you will require extra insurance cover. So, you must ask me to quote you for such additional delivery services as tracking, signature on receipt or a different level of insurance cover.
• If you are outside Australia and choose a carrier other than Australia Post, I will include tracking and add it as a charge.
• If you pay eBay's invoice without the insurance and tracking charge, there will be a delay until we negotiate cover for insurance and tracking.
• I have added a small handling charge to cover the costs of my taking your packed item to my nearest Australia Post office. If you want me to take the item to a carrier of your choice, we will negotiate the extra cost involved. My handling charge is for one package up to 22 kg maximum, no matter how many items it contains.
• You can avoid my handling charge and the shipping and insurance costs by collecting the item directly from me.

• If you are in Australia, I will accept payment by direct bank transfer, eBay, Money Order, or PayPal, but not posted cash. It is often cheaper to pay by bank transfer than by eBay, Money Order or PayPal.
• I will accept cash if you collect the item from me.
• If you are outside Australia, I will only accept payment by bank transfer, eBay, Money Order or PayPal. All payments must be in AU$ or US$, unless we agree otherwise before your payment.
