Axle is completely remanufactured, so refurbishment includes:

• The installation of new arm axles compliant with originals with the highest 60 HRC hardness - originally mounted by PSA.
• Installation of new bearings from’needle with sealing rings (original SNR, originally assembled by Peugeot, Citroën)."
• Checking, and if necessary, renovating the seat of the bearings attached to the suspension arms.
• Strict checking of carrier tubes (center crossbar).
• Axialities the wheel hubs are checked to see if they aren’t twisted or damaged and replaced if necessary.
• Finally remanufacturing also includes sandblasting and anti-corrosion paint of all affected corroded rear end elements.

After the proceeding with remanufacturing, the axle is restored to condition and conforms to a new rear end.
