This is a Buy-It-Now sale for a set of 3 original Acorn heatsinks, fitted to the Ferranti version of the video ULA found in the BBC Model A and B.
Essential for the early ULAs to keep them cool and working reliably. The later VC2023 and VC2069 don't need heatsinks, but people often fit them anyway. These can also be used for other 28 pin DIP devices, such as the Serial ULA or SAA5050.
BIN price is for 3 pcs. I have two lots available, buying both won't incur any extra postage. You will need to use some heatsink compound (or similar thermal pad) to attach these to the device. They hold on via friction, but the heatsink compound is needed to ensure a good transfer of heat away from the device.
As I have two lots, the photo is representative of what you will receive, they may have the odd different scratch mark here and there, but will all be the same type and design.Due to 2nd class mail becoming more and more unreliable, all items are now being migrated to Tracked 48 postage. T48 and T24 postage on small items are usually free for any additional items of the same type. I am unable to get the system to automate combined postage for different items, however if you make the purchase for multiple different items using the basket method, I will combine them into one parcel where possible, and refund any postage excess at the time of shipping.
