Just under 12 “ x 12”, reinforced with two large L bracket stiffeners. Well marked, with NAA Part Number919-48256-16 that includes an NAA factory inspection/proof stamp. Painted in NAA factory Silver, officially called MIL-L-19537 (16473 Lacquer Gray Gloss).  Machined from heavy aluminum, needed to stabilize air loads on the 1400 lb JP4 underwing 200 gal drop tanks.
