Isidore de Rudder signed letter, dated 1894 (or possibly 1884). Charming letter where he apologizes for knocking over and breaking a sculpture made on commission for an unnamed woman. He admits he had hoped to make a replacement before she found out, but didn't have enough time, and promises to make a new one immediately.
On the right is a personality analysis written in another hand. It's unclear if it is an analysis of de Rudder or is unrelated.
4.5" x 7", Very Good condition.
