Offered here is a 4.77 gram slice of NWA 11516 Achondrite Eucrite meteorite which was recovered in Morocco in 2016.  Achondrite Eucritess are believed to have originated from the asteroid 4 Vesta.  Eucrites belong to the HED group of achondritic meteorites. They are the most common achondrite group with well over a hundred distinct finds at present. The pictured slice measures approximately 44mm x 27mm x 2mm.  The NWA 11516 is mentioned in the "Meteoritical Bulletin" #106 (2018). A display case is included in your purchase.
