The dial features a charming, detailed fairy-tale illustration of a bearded elf/gnome working at a blacksmith anvil inside a cobblestone shop.

The brass square case shows a beautiful, authentic aged patina, minor surface wear, and light scratches consistent with a piece nearly a century old.
