RARE HELENA WOLFSOHN DRESDEN MINIATURE HAND PAINTED KAUFFAHRTEI CUP c1870's

A Helena Wolfsohn, Dresden, miniature cup hand painted with a harbor scene known as a Kauffahrtei. The cup is 1 3/4" in diameter & 1" tall. The style of painting was popularised in the 1720's by Johann Gregorius Horoldt a master painter at Meissen.The cup is in very good condition. Pseudo Augustus Rex AR mono in blue. This was used by Wolfsohn until the early 1880's when Meissen sued over its use.
