I have for sale an original early-to-mid 19th century folk art fraktur.

Date: 1830's (Approx.)

As you can see in the photos, there is some soiling, and a few tears. The worst tear, is towards the bottom of the fraktur, that runs horizontally from end to end. Also, there's a few small tears at the bottom, and each side, but they are much more minor. Then, towards the bottom and left side, there's a little staining/foxing, but it still displays well. I've provided over (6) dozen enlarged photos below to give you a very thorough view.

The earliest date I notice is 1801, and the last date is 1908. However, as you can see, the pencil writing is becoming hard to read. I struggle to make out the family, but it starts with a B. I believe it is "BRUNSON," but I am not 100% on that. On the back is a little message, explaining this was bought in, Vermont, in the 1960's. I am assuming this family is from Vermont, and there's also a screw missing for the hanging bracket on the back.

The wood frame is 19th century, but the glass is more contemporary.
