Description:

A vintage side table with a rectangular cork top, simple clean-lined frame and useful lower stretchers. Compact and practical, it would work well as a lamp table, occasional table, bedside table or plant stand in a mid-century inspired interior.

Constructed from solid teak with an inset cork top. The simple, functional design and tapered legs are characteristic of Scandinavian-influenced furniture from the period, with the resilient cork surface providing a practical and distinctive finish. Likely dating from the 1960s to 1970s. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition:

In well used vintage condition.

Showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs, knocks and general wear throughout. The timber frame has numerous marks, finish wear and small knocks, particularly to the legs and edges. The cork top has surface wear and age-related marks. There are a few old glue remnants and filler repairs visible to the underside, but these do not affect use.

The table remains solid and fully functional.

Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing.
