Overworked architect Marley rarely finds time to slow down, leaving little opportunity to connect with her young daughter. Hoping to repair their relationship, she takes an unexpected trip to the seaside town of Cannon Cove, where an annual sandcastle-building competition brings them together in unexpected ways. Along the journey, Marley meets local contractor Adam, whose easygoing outlook on life encourages her to rediscover joy, embrace the present, and open her heart to new possibilities.
