STAR WARS: CLONE WARS: PADMÉ AMIDALA MAQUETTE

Released in 2004 by Gentle Giant, Ltd. In animation, maquettes are small models of an intended work, used by animators as a reference tool to help retain character consistency. This maquette is made of a porcelain/resin blend. Limited to 1000 pieces of which this is numbered 552.

From Gentle Giant’s description: “Genndy Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: CLONE WARS series has been a huge sensation on Cartoon Network, and Star Wars collectors can get to enjoy a series of maquettes (statues) based upon the animated versions of Star Wars: Clone Wars characters!

From another solicitation description: “This very limited maquette was a StarWarsShop.com exclusive and its popularity was greatly underestimated. It sold out instantly and quickly became the jewel in the crown of the Clone Wars Animated Maquette line. Limited to 1000.”

Condition is Near Mint or better. New & never displayed. Fair warning: I only opened this from its sealed packaging to inspect & take these photos. However, there is so much extra styrofoam padding that I found it quite a struggle to pack it back up. Therefore, if you should purchase this, be prepared to be frustrated as you try to re-pack it one day (perhaps it would be easier to discard the extra styrofoam). Also, the glue holding one corner together has dried, so that the sides have separated; does not affect the statue, but you may wish to glue it back. Please see photos.

Will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.
